The UK Kombucha market is predicted to grow by 33% this year, and teapigs are excited to be one of the first brands to make Kombucha, with their very own range launching in Holland and Barrett stores April 26 and the teapigs website mid May.
For those of you who are not up to date with the latest tea trends, Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black or green tea commonly consumed for its purported health benefits.
There will be three flavours available:
- Original
- Ginger & Lemongrass
- Peach & Mango
Each is brewed in small batches in the UK with a live SCOBY, along with top quality teapigs tea sourced by trained tea taster and co founder, Louise Cheadle.
Teapigs Kombucha is 100% natural, with no artificial flavours or sweeteners. Plus, 5p per can is donated to the teapigs ethical scheme which supports vulnerable young people in Rwanda (where teapigs source much of their tea).
Available soon at http://www.teapigs.co.uk and Holland & Barrett | RRP £1.90 per can (250ml)
