Radley London X Go Jauntly: Discover City Walks

Radley London have been bringing moments of joy to celebrate their Spring Campaign, Grow Your Own Joy. Radley has partnered with Go Jauntly, a free community-based walking app, that walks you through fantastic walking routes across the UK. Radley encourages customers to celebrate small moments of joy, by inviting them into the world of outdoor adventure.

Radley and Go Jauntly have worked together to specially curate five routes for their customers, to be taken on an adventure past hidden gems, green spaces, and so much more in London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Three of the routes are in London: One is based in East London and takes in the sights around Liverpool Street – one of Radley’s bestselling bags. Take a stroll through Covent Garden and pay Radley a visit at their flagship Floral Street store with the second route. And lastly, head to West for the third route, showcasing some of the prettiest parts of Kensington and Chelsea.

Both Birmingham and Manchester walks take a circular route around the cities. Packed with history (as well as plenty of Insta-friendly photo opportunities), this is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. All walk routes are dog friendly, range between 1-3 hours.

Simply download the free Go Jauntly app and look for Radley London’s section on the app home screen (@radleylondon), where one can find all the different walking routes, start locations and directions as you go, along with facts about landmarks on the routes.

Radley London’s new season handbags from their Storybook of Autumn

In homage to the ‘micro’ handbag trend this autumn, Radley London have designed a desirable range of minis.

The curated collection from the in-house London Design Studio, headed up by Director of Design, Zizi Hill, showcases timeless investment pieces to transition you into the season ahead.

From maxi to micro, cross body to top handle – the collection features the fashion must-haves – incorporating handcrafted luxe finishes in new shapes and textures, featuring shearling, weaving, plaiting and patchwork.

Radley London’s Director of Design Zizi Hill said: “Autumn is my favourite season to design; I love easing from late summer hazy days into the cosiness of the nights drawing in as we approach winter. This season we embrace the whimsical and the wonderful and I was drawn to folklore and crafting for inspiration – finding beauty in the simple things.

“Handcrafted finishes and sumptuous earthy colour palettes have created a gorgeous, elegant collection designed for all our customers wants and needs”

Flute Street is a classic silhouette in a miniature size – the perfect mini crossbody that can still fit your everyday essentials – lipstick, cards and mask. In addition, there’s the ‘micro-mini’ bag that can also be clipped on to your ‘big’ bag – because you can never have too many accessories!

Radley London launch sustainability campaign

Radley London are standing up for the planet to protect its future — with sustainable design as a key focus.

Their Radley Responsible collection is at the centre of a wider strategy across the business and supply chain to reduce environmental impact, create lasting, positive change and ultimately become a carbon zero business.

Radley London’s sustainable journey is about producing high quality handbags and accessories that are ethically produced. By being smart with resources such as sourcing sustainable fabrics and packaging, and using overstock materials instead of brand new.

Radley Responsible first launched in October 2020 and the collection has grown every season into a range of wonderful prints and colours, with a style for every occasion.

The bags are expertly crafted using materials including recycled polyester – made from plastic bottles destined for landfill – and water-based PU, which produces 60% less emissions than oil-based PU and is far cleaner for the environment.

Joining the Radley Responsible family for the season is the Pocket Essentials collection, made with recycled polyester. Featuring new styles and colours, the popular design is still instantly recognisable with the signature exterior curved slip pockets and metal Scottie detail.

While the new Folk Floral design incorporates whimsical patterns, warm autumnal shades and includes a useful internal laptop sleeve on all totes and backpacks.

Radley London is flying the Pride Flag for June launching exclusive bag with 20% of proceeds going to Stonewall charity

To celebrate Pride 2021, British handbag and accessories brand Radley London has partnered with LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall and designed a limited edition reversible tote bag.

In addition, Radley London is also excited to announce that Lady Phyll, co-founder of UK Black Pride and the CEO of Kaleidoscope Trust, will be the brand’s Woman of Spirit ambassador for Pride Month.

The exclusive Beach Close Pride large canvas tote is fully reversible, with an iconic rainbow print stripe design on one side and the Radley London logo in the Pride rainbow colours on the other.

It is set to be the must-have buy for the summer, retailing at £109, with 20% of the sales of the bag being donated to the Stonewall charity.

The brand stands with Stonewall in their fight so “everyone of every identity is free to be proud, free to love, free to be wrong, free to be anything, free to be together.”

Anthony Baigent, Senior Community and Partnerships Officer at Stonewall, said: “Stonewall is delighted to be working with Radley London on the creation of the statement bag to celebrate Pride this June and sure it’ll be a sell-out!

“We’d like to thank all customers purchasing the Pride bag for the significant contribution their donations will make towards creating real change for lesbian, gay, bi and trans people.”

Radley London’s Woman of Spirit for June is Lady Phyll as she fully embodies what it means to be a Woman of Spirit ambassador.

Lady Phyll has spent her life building safe spaces and communities for LGBTQ+ people of colour. Tirelessly campaigning against racism, homophobia, sexism and discrimination.

Her hope for the future is “to live in a world where there’s no longer a need for Pride or Black Pride and where everyone of every community is accepted.”

Lady Phyll commented: “Activism runs in my blood. I am born of warrior women and I am here to claim space for myself and others like me.

“Black Pride is Black joy. It’s an unapologetic enjoyment in ourselves, our cultures, and our potential.”

Radley London’s Woman of Spirit campaign celebrates and supports women who are working to make a real difference in the world: the leaders of tomorrow, the freethinkers, the voices for change that inspire us every day and to created a community of inspiring and empowering yet relatable women – by telling the stories of real-life heroes to champion communities and provide them with a platform to amplify their voice.
